Hide AdShe said that Pte Foley died on March 11, 1915, in Number Three Casualty Clearing Station, Poperinge, Belgium, and that his casualty form indicates that he was injured as early as March 6-7.
Based on Bugle’s research which used a newspaper article from 1915, that is now known to be inaccurate, we printed that he had passed away in a Boulonge hospital after being wounded on March 9.

Bugle leader Tony Dunlop is pleased Jane Roberts came forward with the information. “It all helps to add to the story of a soldier who gave his life for the cause.”
