World of colour at student exhibition
First year students from Batley School of Art are presenting their Vision of Colour exhibition at the West Yorkshire Print Workshop until July 15.
Artists on the Contemporary Photographic Arts course are displaying their silk screen prints, where photographs are made into prints and brought alive with colour and other effects.

Student Hannah Whitehead said: “We’ve loved doing this exhibition, it has been a refreshing change learning a new art form in screen printing.
“There are nine different students’ work on display and we’re all really proud of the works that we’ve created.”
Batley School of Art will kick off its end of year and degree show tomorrow (Friday) with a fashion show.
