Training firm fully booked
Brookhouse Training has been booked to capacity until the end of May, with around 100 students expected to walk through the centre’s doors in the first 22 weeks of 2014.
Centre director James McConnell said: “This is an amazing start to our new year.

The gas and plumbing training centre, based in Brookhouse Mill in Balme Road, has been refurbished and courses now include carbon monoxide and fault finding modules.
Brookhouse Training hopes to become a centre of excellence and prides itself on offering a guaranteed work placement to its trainees.
Mr McConnell added: “This isn’t verbal, it’s contracted, and without work experience a gas student will never become a qualified gas engineer.

Around 63 per cent of the centre’s students have found regular employment as a result of their work placement, and 95 per cent of students secure related work after they qualify.
