Queen writes to Dewsbury school children to say thanks for their letter
Youngsters at St John's CE Infant School put together ideas for a prayer during act of worship time and one of the year two church group members, Du’a Saleem, used her best handwriting to put it all together in a letter addressed to the Queen at Buckingham Palace.
The letter said: “Dear Queen, we are deeply sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one, Prince Philip.

“At St John’s we all respect and value the hard work that you do for us as a country and have been thinking about you at this sad time during our worship.
"Thank you for helping to lead our country and we will be by your side.
“We give you hope for the future in our prayers and thoughts. Amen.”
